Changes in the conditions of the loan repayment holidays

From August 1, automatically connected the loan repayment holidays on credit cards will cease to operate

The bank has provided for a smooth way out of the loan repayment holidays to reduce the financial burden. Starting from August, the compulsory payment will consist of loan interest and loan body, starting from 1%. Until the end of the year, the loan body will gradually return to 3%, which was applied to the automatic connection of the loan repayment holidays.

You can extend the loan repayment holiday by submitting an application

Please note that in case of the loan repayment holidays extension, you will not be able to use the credit limit, and the balance of the debt under the “Splachuyte chastynamy” service will be considered as debt on cash withdrawal operations, on which, in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, interest is accrued.

Conditions for the additional loan repayment holidays:

  • The loan repayment holidays are set for 3 months.

  • Mandatory payment on credit card includes:

    • interest for the use of credit funds
    • body of the loan in the amount of 0.5% of the debt
  • The use of credit card funds will not be available until the end of the holidays period

  • You can only repay the debt

  • Drawing up the loan repayment holidays under the new conditions is possible if:

    • you have no overdue debt or no more than one payment is overdue.

An example of calculating a mandatory payment for the loan repayment holidays period:

Mandatory payment for the period of the loan repayment holidays is 443.60 UAH, which consists of:
Mandatory payment after the end of the loan repayment holidays is 713 UAH, which consists of:

393 uah (accrued interest on withdrawals/transfers)

393 uah (accrued interest on withdrawals/transfers)

50 uah (0.5% of the debt (purchases and cash withdrawals)

300 uah (3% of the debt (purchases and cash withdrawals)

0,6 uah (сommission for transfer to a third bank, commission for “Splachuyte chastynamy” service)

Answers to the questions that you may have

    • How can I connect the loan repayment holidays?

      To connect the loan repayment holidays you do not need to contact the branch, just leave a request on the Hot Line of the bank or fill out the form here.

    • Do I need to go to the branch for drawing up the loan repayment holidays?

      No, the loan repayment holidays are drawn up remotely. You only need to fill out an application on the Hot Line of the bank or fill out the form here.

    • How long does it take to process a connection request?

      Applications are processed on weekdays until 18:00.
      If you submitted an application at the weekend, it will be processed on Tuesday. To change the payment in the current month, the application must be submitted no later than 3 working days before the settlement date. Applications that were sent less than 3 business days before the settlement date will be processed next month.
      An example of setting the loan repayment holidays, if 30th is the settlement date:

      • if you sent your application on the 5th, you will receive a decision by the 30th of the current month. The loan repayment holidays will be applied and payment is less in the current month;
      • if you sent your application after the 27th, provided that the 30th does not fall on the weekend, the decision on your loan will be received by the 30th of the next month. The new reduced mandatory payment will be calculated the next period and the holidays will be valid for 3 consecutive settlement dates;
      • if the settlement date falls on a weekend, then the application must be submitted no later than 3 working days.

      Upon the establishment of the loan repayment holidays, you will receive a message in Viber or SMS to your financial (personal) phone number with the status of the appeal before your next payment date.

    • If I have more than one credit card agreement, how is the loan repayment holidays connected?

      It is enough to leave one application and the loan repayment holidays will be established for all existing credit card agreements.

    • Are there any restrictions on the draw up of the loan repayment holidays?

      Yes, the loan repayment holidays are not provided if your credit card:
      – an old agreement, which is served not under a comprehensive banking service agreement (credit cards were issued before 16.11.2015 at JSC "BANK RENAISSANCE CAPITAL")
      – there is an overdue debt
      – the loan repayment holidays are already connected

    • If I have an overdue debt, can I draw up the loan repayment holidays?

      If the overdue debt has not been repaid yet and is more than one payment, then you will not be able to draw up the loan repayment holidays without paying off the delay. Therefore, pay off the overdue debt and submit a new application in 2 days.

    • If I have already taken advantage of the loan repayment holidays, can I connect them again?

      If after the end of your loan repayment holiday you still find it difficult to pay your credit card payment, you can re-apply.

    • For how long and from what period are the loan repayment holidays drawn up?

      The loan repayment holidays program is developed for a period of 3 months and begins to apply from the nearest settlement date on your credit card. That is if you applied to draw up r a vacation no later than 2 days BEFORE the payment date, then the new mandatory payment will be calculated already as a reduced, and the holidays will be valid for 3 settlement dates in a row.

    • What will my loan repayment holidays payment consist of?

      During the holidays, you will pay interest on the body of the loan and a small percentage of the body of the debt (0.5%). If you have the possibility, we recommend that you do not accumulate debt and make payments in a comfortable amount for you.

    • Do the loan repayment holidays cancel previously accrued payments?

      Mandatory payments on credit cards that were accrued by the bank before applying for the additional loan repayment holidays do not change.

    • Where can I find out the payment amount on my credit card?

      You can always see the amount of the required payment in the current month in PUMB Online, PUMB chatbot on Viber. Also, you receive monthly SMS-informing about the obligatory payment on the credit card.

    • What will happen after the holidays are over? How should I pay off my credit card debt?

      After the loan repayment holidays are over, monthly payments will be accrued as before: 3% of the loan body and accrued interest and commissions.

    • Will I be able to use the credit limit during the holidays?

      No, during the loan repayment holidays, the ability to make debit transactions will be blocked until the end of the loan repayment holidays.

    • Will the bank charge interest on the credit card during the loan repayment holidays?

      Mandatory payments within the validity of the loan repayment holidays will contain interest on the loan and a small percentage (0.5%) of the loan body. This will allow reducing the financial burden during the period of the loan repayment holidays. If you have the possibility, we recommend that you do not accumulate debt and make payments in a larger, comfortable amount for you.

    • Will I be charged penalties if I don't pay?

      The bank will not charge fines for late or incomplete payment of loan payments until August 31, 2020, and will not apply increased interest rates to those customers who could not repay loan payments on time and in full until September 30, 2020. If the quarantine period is extended, the bank will additionally inform about the extension of the grace period.

    • Where can I repay the loan?

      Cash:

      you can repay the loan through SSHC of the bank and self-service terminals of PrivatBank, IBox, and EasyPay.

       

      Online:

      You can pay a loan without leaving home using PUMB Online mobile application or on the bank's website, using cards of different banks.

     

    • I was denied the loan repayment holidays, why?

      Such a possibility exists because there are restrictions on the draw up of the loan repayment holidays:

    • - if you have an overdue debt at the time of processing your application

    • - if you have already applied for the loan repayment holidays

    • - if your card already has a credit vacation

    • - the loan repayment holidays program does not apply to the loan product for which your agreement is drawn up

    • - an application for the loan repayment holidays could not be considered due to incorrectly entered data. Call the Bank Hotline

     

    • Can I cancel the established loan repayment holidays before their expiration?

      No, the established loan repayment holidays are valid for three months without the possibility of early return to the standard calculation of a mandatory payment on the credit card.
