Conversion can take place using the commercial rate of the bank (different from the cash rate) and rates of International Payment Systems (IPS) Visa and Mastercard. Which exchange rate will be applied depends on the currency of the account and the currency of the transaction.

The commercial sales rate is applied for cards in UAH, when the payment transaction takes place in a foreign currency. If the currency of the transaction is not the US dollar, then the conversion takes place as follows: UAH - USD (at the commercial rate), USD - the currency of the transaction (at the IPS rate).
