Sources of funds on personal accounts of individuals
Dear customers, per paragraphs 4 and 5 of Part 2 of Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalisation (Laundering) of the Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction" No. 361-IX dated 06.12.2019. (hereinafter - the Law), "The Bank is obliged to carry out due diligence of clients and ensure monitoring of the client's financial transactions for compliance of such financial transactions with the information available to the Bank about the client, its activities and risk, including, if necessary, information about the sources of funds related to the financial transaction(s).
According to Article 11(6) of the Law, "The Bank has the right to request, and the client or client's representative is obliged to submit, the information (official documents) necessary for the due diligence, as well as for the Bank to comply with other requirements of the legislation in the field of prevention and counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime, terrorist financing and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction".
And because of the above legal justification, you should provide, at the request of the Bank:
- documents on the sources of funds that have been credited to your personal individual accounts
- detailed written explanations* (personally signed) regarding the movement of funds on the account(s), namely: the purpose of crediting, indication of senders and economic sense in carrying out these transactions, their volume and quantity.
*Paper explanations are to be submitted to the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "FUIB" Chernenko S.P. with his signature and must contain:
- Full name and passport details
- Describe the purpose of the operations performed on the accounts and the source of funds
- Date and signature
Please note that in accordance with the Regulation on Financial Monitoring by Banks, approved by Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 65 dated 19.05.2020 and in accordance with the Bank's internal policy on financial monitoring, documents confirming the financial condition.

DO NOT change the names of electronic documents generated from the cabinet of public authorities
Until the requested documents/information are provided, the transactions on your accounts may be restricted.
This decision may be reviewed by the Bank if you provide the necessary documents confirming your financial ability to carry out transactions for the relevant amounts.
Per the third paragraph of Part 1 of Article 15 of the Law, the Bank is obliged to refuse to establish (maintain) business relations/refuse to open an account (service) to a client, including by terminating business relations, closing an account/refuse to conduct a financial transaction if the client has established an unacceptably high risk or the client fails to provide the documents or information necessary for the proper verification of the client.
The documents from the list above can be submitted to any FUIB branch or by filling in the form for sending documents.
The Bank may request additional documents.
