Clarification of military personnel categories that can use privileges, as well as the inclusion of wives (husbands) of the military in the subjects of privileges
Dear customers, starting from 18.05.2024, following paragraph 15 of Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Military Personnel and Members of Their Families", the categories of military entitled to loan benefits have been clarified, and wives (husbands) of the military have been included in the list of recipients of privileges.
During the special period, the Bank does not accrue fines, penalties for failure to fulfill obligations to the Bank, interest on the loan, as well as monthly fees on consumer loans (except for loans granted starting from 19.08.2022 for the purchase of property that is or will be classified as an object of the living fund and a car) granted to:
- by the military borrowers who participated or are participating:
- in the defence of the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine and took direct part in the anti-terrorist operation, ensuring its conduct, being directly in the areas of the anti-terrorist operation during its conduct (after this - ATO);
or
- in the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, ensuring their implementation, being directly in the areas and during the period of implementation of these measures (after this - JFO);
or
- in the measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, protection of the security of the people, and the interests of the state in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (after this referred to as the measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine).
- by the borrowers who are military at the time of their conscription:
- for military service during mobilization;
- for military service under the conscription of persons from the reservists.
- by wives (husbands) of the military referred to in clauses 1 and 2 of this part who are officially married - starting from 18.05.2024 (but not earlier than the date of state registration of marriage) during the period of eligibility for privileges for the military - the second person or until the marriage is terminated.
To apply for loan benefits, the following documents must be submitted to JSC "FUIB" (to a branch or through the Bank's website):
- Military personnel at the time of their conscription (upon conscription during mobilization or among reservists):
- military ID card or other document that replaces it, which contains up-to-date information on the conscription for military service, or
- an extract from the order of the commander of a military unit on the enrolment of a person in the list of personnel of a military unit, or
- a certificate of conscription of a person liable for military service or a reservist for military service during mobilization or for a special period.
- Military personnel, and his/her participation in the ATO/JFO/measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine:
- military ID card, or
- contract, or
- a certificate confirming the status of a military.
and
- a certificate of direct participation in the anti-terrorist operation, ensuring its conduct and protecting the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine, or
- a certificate of participation in the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repulsion and deterrence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, or
- a certificate of direct participation in measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, protection of public safety, and interests of the state in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine or other certificates/documents confirming the above facts.
- Wife (husband) of a military:
- marriage certificate and
- documents confirming the military's right to privileges of the respective category (military conscription during mobilization/reservists or military who participated or are participating in the ATO/JFO/measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine).
